Currently our commercial food and drug line of products are over run with chemicals that do as much harm as they can do good. The artificial synthetic products run the risk of numerous side effects. As Cardiovascular disease and cancer still rank at the top of the list, we've found ways to help reduce the biochemical action that causes these chronic diseases which is inflammation and oxidation of cells at the cellular level.
NATURAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AGENTS
Currently the first thing we do when we get a bump or bruise is reach for an aspirin. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents come in all shapes in sizes over the counter and by prescription. We are told that they are useful for colds, aches, and even to prevent blod clotting mechanisms in the blood vessels and heart.
However natural anti-inflammatory agents are made in the human body and also come from nature as well. Niacin and Niacinamide(Kaufman.MD/Ph.D) have shown successful effects which is a micronutrient. Fish Oil such as Omega 3 is another excellent source such as DHA and EPA. Fish that are cold compressed from ocean sources are the best(Tna, Sardines, Salmon). Berries such as cranberries and Magosteen have anti-inflammatory properties, too including the antoxidant powers of cherries and strawberries .We're going to hear a lot more bout various types of berries later on.
Other anti-inflammatory agents are cayenne pepper as well as its derivative capsaician. Nattokinase from the soy product Natto is known to contain anti-inflammatory effects , too. Certain worms have an enzyme called lumbrokinase that act as an anti-inflammatory agent.
Inflammation is a major effect for both heart disease and cancer development. In heart disease platelets clumbp up together to create more of a clot with scarring on the inside of a vessel.
